What an exciting weekend in a little cute town called Estes Park, COLORADO. What a special couple these two are, Michelle and Ian. Two people that are madly in love and it is neat to see the sparkle in their eyes and the tender love that they display to one another. They picked me up at the Denver airport and little did I know that the next 4 days was going to be full of excitement, staying up wee hours of the night. Plenty of activities that Michelle’s family had planned. Sue, Michelle’s mom just went over the top. She not only planned a wedding but entertained 8 bridesmaid and 8 groomsmen cooking and preparing meals for all including breakfast, lunch and dinner. I stayed at this beautiful house a 4 stories tall cedar home with a huge fireplace, a walk-in closet and a king size bed that had harry and david chocolate treat on my pillow. In this big loft and kitchen, she filled the counter full of basket treats. (So much for my diet) anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed myself ( inspite of the elevation sickness) and felt privelege to be their photographer and capture the very important events that unfold that day. The weather was great, beautiful blue sky the day before and I spent the morning driving around the town photographing this couple and seeing the “famous Stanley hotel”. God gave me grace to hold off the snow until the next day. We had planned to do some outdoor photographs before the ceremony and the weather forecast predicted snow and cloudy weather. However, we were able to get good photographs outside, no snow until that night! Yeah! it was freezing cold, but I was wrapped up in my nice down jacket gloved up and snow boots toasty warm! I met the wedding party at downtown park.. and much to my surprise! all the bridesmaids and bride dressed like they were having a wedding at the beach…. barefoot ! I shudder just thinking about it, but they were all having too much fun!

Kellie and Jeff couldn’t have asked for a perfect time of year to get married… Although, weather forecast stated 20% rain that day and when we woke up that morning it had plenty of thunder clouds glooming overhead as if it was going to rain any minute, but with a lot of prayer on my part, we drove to La Provence ,Roseville and Viola! the clouds had cleared up and the temperature was perfect! Kellie was just simply gorgeous in her beautiful dress and her exquisite bouquet of hydrangeas. The rich color of the the bridesmaid’s dresses and their bouquet just complimented her. Jeff, the groom, I love his sense of humor, and all his groomsmen so relax and willing to endure the photo shoot. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen were helping each other making sure that the bride and groom had a beautiful day together. It was an awesome wedding..

Part of my wedding package is including engagement session without charging extra to my clients. This gives me the opportunity to get to know the couple and see how they do in front of the camera. I enjoy getting to know the couple while I spend time with them shooting their engagement and getting the details of what the wedding will be like. Paige and Jeff were one of the most flexible couple I got to work with. They did not mind spending the afternoon with me as we drove to different parts of Redding finding that unique spot. Thank you Paige and Jeff for allowing me to be creative and being so patient. I look forward to your wedding day!

I have enjoyed getting to know Amanda and Micah the past year. I met Amanda and Micah last year since both of them were a big part in their friends wedding and I was the photographer for both weddings. Amanda is a beautiful girl and I thought to myself I wonder if they will be the next one to get married and if so, I would love to be their photographer. Amanda is beautiful girl inside and out! and Micah has a great sense of humor. I was honored when I received that phone call last year indicating that she and her mom would like to discuss wedding photography. I was ecstatic! Her Mom and I belong to this group of ladies where we meet for dinner and go enjoy a “Chick flick”. Over the past few months Amanda has joined our “movie club”, needless to say she is the youngest in our club. Hard to believe that time has flown so fast and here we are! The wedding will take place at Lazy K ranch, beautiful place for a wedding! It’s going to be a special day. I am looking forward to see everyone that we know there as well. Weather indicates that it will be a perfect day. Nothing over 100 degrees is fine by me!
